  1. Need encouragement

    I am five weeks out today. Since my surgery I have really tried to stay up beat and positive, even with the milk protein allergy that was just awful. I am loosing good, don't feel that bad, actually physically I feel pretty normal..BUT mentally the past few days I just want to cry all the time...I have been sad..I think I am literally mourning the loss of food. Sounds just crazy I know, but its like the new and shiny of the surgery is gone, and I am just over it...Would just like to freakin eat...When ...
  2. Egg White Protien....My new best friend!!!

    If you have read any of my previous post you already know that I have found out that I am allergic to Whey.....I struggled BIG TIME the first 2 1/2 weeks not knowing that was the problem.

    My Doctor told me to stop the whey products all together and try egg white protein, and I have got to tell you, I feel SOOOOO much better. And I even like the taste better. It is amazing how much better I feel just getting the right amount of protein in.

    I am still holding at 30lbs ...
