  1. OK.. Unofficial healthcare experts, I need input :)

    Next week will be 3 months post op. I have started to experience dizziness and become lightheaded a lot lately. I have no BP issues. I check my suger with no issues. (no meds for that since day of surgery) Primary care doc did test to check BP in different positions, then EKG- low heart rate..50 beats per minute, so wore the heart monitor for a day, no issues. Blood work was OK.
    I havent called surgeon, makes sense I should have called him prior to PCP, but its two hours away..... ...
  2. Newly Sleeved people - PLEEZE step OFF the scale !

    Please dont spend your energy worrying over those decimals..... Do what your professionals advise, stay the course, and it will come. Some of us are slower.... I am two months post op today, I weighed for this occasion and I have lost 38 pounds(including pre-op), BUT wait ... 9 inches from my waist!! woop woop! I will take that over the scale any day of the week.

    Remember, your body has been through a lot, it will let YOU know when it is ready to move those numbers, but dont ...
  3. Its the little things........ massage :)

    I treated myself to a wonder full body massage today...it felt amazing! I went for a small dose of shopping, and bought a skort, size misses 14.....hee hee.. I tried it on, it zipped and I thought it must be in the wrong place... but nope it was a 14. Now before anyone gets really tearly eyed...... It is NOT pretty :0(spare tire above the zipper) but it zipped, so I hang it up for incentive in a few weeks.. I feel like a million bucks...2 weeks, 3 days post op. Happy Friday everyone ...
  4. 14 days post-op today.........

    21 of these little suckers ! I'm down 21 pounds since April 1st, the start of pre-op diet. 12 pounds since surgery(14 days). I will definitely take that !

    I have had no pain meds since coming home, no naseau, no indigestion/reflux, not on diabetic meds, check my sugar daily and it runs 87-95 WOW! I hope this journey continues as easily as the first two weeks. Oh, I cant believe Ive not been hungry at all...really?? I would have eaten an entire pizza before.. Eating soft

  5. I'm no longer attached !!

    To tubes, drains, medicine balls, etc.... Im FREE. The Qball(medicine ball came out last night while I was sleeping, so I dont have to carry it around another two days. I felt so good taking my first shower at home, walked on treadmill, sipping, sipping........ I do feel really good, though!
