Default The Devil is at work!

It has been nothing short of a miracle that I've stayed away from my beloved canned double shot Starbucks Coffee drinks since having surgery, and I'll be damned if I didn't just find this trickery in the gas station. Pure evil working against me here, and I was weak. 20150302_155732.jpg

getcha with the protein temptation lol but look but it has just a few more calories than a protein shake so i dont know if it would be bad to have just one or not if you dont have your protein shake for the day that would replace them calories or that is just my thinking on the matter but i bet it is full of sugar and stuff we dont need lol oh the choices we have to make sometimes

I've had a tall (small) chai with non-fat milk and only 2 pumps instead of 3 to cut down on the sugar. It still tastes pretty good and it's a little better than normal. I can't take the chemicals in aspartame, etc...so I would rather have less of the real sugar than the fake stuff. I'm sure one can is not going to do you in! Lol!

It actually has less calories than my protein shake, but a gazillion carbs. Bad carbs. Bad! I'm on a little trip for my birthday, and I've never seen these at home, so I justified buying just one by saying that I'll never see them again. It'll be just my luck that that it will be delicious and that my local convenience store will have them the day I get back home. I must remind myself. This is just a one time treat that I will allow myself to have for breakfast tomorrow morning. Starbucks instead of birthday cake. Yay! I hope those 32 grams of carbs are worth it!

Thank you! And Ann2, it is amazing how much better I feel!! I have finally been able to eat again, and even had my very first stall. Who would ever say they were excited about a stall? This lady! From February 9th - 23rd I didn't lose a single pound, and even gained two. Since then I've lost those two plus 3 more, so now I'm feeling more normal. All of January and the beginning of February were some scary times. So very very grateful to be regaining my health. Many thanks to everyone who offered me such kind support when I was so terribly low.

Edited to add: Sitting here at 6 in the morning enjoying the hell out of my Starbucks "protein" drink. It is just as I suspected...wonderfully, delightfully, delicious. I feel like I need to go to church after I finish drinking this thing. It is THAT sinful.
