1 year gone..... what an amazing journey !!!

Today is my first anniversary and i really cant believe what a difference its made to me, in so many ways.
76lbs /5.5stone /34.5kg lost, so many inches i have lost count, no more cholesterol meds and others gone or greatly reduced, no threatening diabetes......can move/walk/exercise without the chronic pain, arthritis doesnt go but its so much easier when lighter.
I did the operation for health reasons, not vanity, and its been an amazing success!!! NSVs abounding...As a plus i am told i look 10 years younger and feel more confident and sexier than i have for years. All the girls will know how important that is....... and the guys too x x
The last few months i have stopped losing and actually out on 3 lbs, a new job, crazy hours and a few other things have played their part in that, but also i am glad as it gave my skin a chance to catch up. Bio Oil helps too..x x x
I have just adjusted my goal weight and will attain that !!! Need to exercise more often, make my body the priority and enjoy the buzz again. But not beating myself up over it either..... being kind to myself on all levels.
As i live in a warm country going to the beach is a weekly activity which i always love, so maybe a tummy tuck will be on the list for next year... but sounds very painful hahhahaha. Lest see how more exercise will improve it first x x
I have the most amazing friend staying with me from the uk, she came last year too, and was a great nurse and huge support. She has put on lots of weight, as being a full time carer for her mother is a huge drain in all ways. She is struggling when walking, and feels so uncomfortable.....it has reminded me where i was. I wish i could wave a magic wand for her.... x x x
I feel so blessed, fortunate to have been able to have my operation, without it i dont even want to think of where i would be or how i would be feeling. The 4 year bank loan is nothing compared to what is gave me !!!!!! hahahahhahaha
