Restriction after gallbladder removal

I am going on 7 months post sleeve and had my gallbladder removed on Monday. I didn't have an appetite for the first couple of days and just had fluids and popcicles. The last couple of days trying solid food has a feeling of major restriction comparable to 6-8 weeks post sleeve. I am wondering if this just a result of the recent trauma(surgery) and swelling? No big deal really, but it is something that I really didn't think about. I just thought I would ask if anyone else experienced this and if so how long did it last?

I had gall bladder surgery 4 weeks after my VSG surgery.

Looking back at my MFP records right after my gall bladder surgery, I see that both my daily calories and my daily protein grams went down a bit for a while, but within a week had slowly climbed back up to what was then "normal" for me.

That's probably what you should expect--to be back to YOUR "normal" calories and protein intake within a week.

I hope your recovery is easy, as mine was.
