My nurse and nutritionist had a good idea for me. I am 2 wk pre op now and they said, why dont you make yourself a "Bucket List " of things you want to do or accomplish after you have lost weight. Things you have not done before because of mobility , health, or just plain ol embarrassed.
So here is my question - Do any of you have a Bucket list and what kind of things are you putting on it?? I think this is a great idea to set a goal, not for weight loss but things you will now be able to do ! Doesnt have to be spectacular, anything, everyday normal stuff.
One of mine, going for a walk in the woods. Riding a bike. Not feeling ashamed to get on an airplane. Get on a carnival ride. Walk a block without being winded. Travel. Ok These are just a few of mine, how about everyone list some of theirs ?
