Default My wallet & credit card don't love the sleeve as much as I do...

Instead of eating all the time I am exercising. I hired a trainer a few days a week and that is helping immensely. But additionally I wanted (and kind of needed) new exercise clothes. And they aren't cheap.

So, yes - I am loving this new, active, healthy me. My wallet/credit card are saying "what the heck."

Anyone else? What are you spending your money on as you lose inches and pounds? Or are you more careful than I?

I can think of worse things to be spending money on. Good for you! Have you checked out Groupon? They tend to have lots of deals here for trainers, yoga classes, fitness, dance, etc. I've been taking advantage of those, as well as buying resistance bands, and lots of DVDs.

I figure I'm just taking the money I'm saving on food and redirecting it. lol

Yes, my credit cards are on fire! I'm trying to keep things in check, but feel I'm also worth it! I have found very reasonable workout clothes at Walmart that don't break the bank, and they are nice, name brand that are holding up GREAT!

Exactly - redirected money. Lower food bill, higher protein bill, exercise bill, etc

I have not had that problem so far since I have a lot of workout clothes I grew out of that I can get back in now. I will love to get to the point of needing to shop for new stuff as now I have so many clothes that I can just now get back into. I figure at the rate I am going I will need some new stuff when I go on my cruise the first week in December. Maybe I will buy a speedo!

I have spent sooooo much money on clothes, it's ridiculous! I work in the medical field so I have had to buy a whole new set of scrubs twice. Even my shoes have gotten bigger. And now that I can buy smaller cute clothes makes me want them even more

I have found a resale shop that sales only the brand name clothes and some really nice stuff.. When she saw how fast I was going through the sizes she said ."Bring them back we will something out !".. Almost feel like I a renting clothes .. She has really nice stuff and so many styles and colors . It has been so much fun shopping there.... Have only bought shoes ,underwear and swimsuits new..
Did not have many "shop my own closet stuff." Started at size 22/22... Now in 10/12's..
The protein drinks I like are expensive . My interest I 5K 's has been a bit expensive . Signed up for 3 .. Bought new running shoes .. And reserve 2 hotel nights for 5K at Disney it is in Feb . and my sleeve will be a year old !
I did uh amused TV with a VCR because I got some great beginners YOGI VHS tapes .

Look at fabletics they are decently priced. I haven't bought from it yet as they do not have my size, but I do the fab shoes and love them.

Old Navy has good workout clothes and they are ALWAYS on sale. They've got good coupons too. That's where I get my stuff.

I have spent THOUSANDS of dollars on clothes. I have to get professional, well fitted stuff for work because I have a high visibility role. I have to wear well tailored clothes to stay looking professional. Can't do baggy stuff. I've bought clothes in 12's all the way down to 4's and 2's now. It gets SO expensive but my weight loss has tapered off now so I'm pretty sure I'll stay where I am. I'd like to lose about 10 more but we'll see. I really don't want to get much smaller in size. Now I need to work on getting tone. Already doing that - just need to KEEP doing it. But yes, super expensive. Check out Old Navy. My stuff is very comfy and durable.

You don’t have to be perfect. You just need to be better.

Well I am a home care nurse so I eat on the road every day. My food bill averaged about $900- $1000 a month so I think I will be saving money post op.
