First time to get sick

Its been a long while since my surgery... I never got sick one time and have been able to eat anything I want with no problems... Last night I ate about 8 small candy corns... The ones I used to eat a large bag of.... Man my stomach started cramping with the worse pain ever... I threw up for about 2 hours and the pain lasted 4 hours or so..... The worst I have ever felt in my life.... I have not had much candy/sugar and plant to stay away from it for a long time... I can't tell you how horrible it was...

Sorry you had to endure the revenge of the sugar monster! I tried 1/2 a oreo cookie last week and got the slime monster...wish I could have thrown up. It's all a learning thing...

I am so sorry that happened to you... I have been sick before and it has been when I rush to eat food. I have not tried many foods yet because I am trying to see which foods work for me. I can not believe it but, I use to love greens and now they don't agree with me...I seem to get sick when I eat them. I am slowly trying to see which foods work for me now. I hope you feel better soon!!! Congratulations on your weightloss so far...

Well, it WAS caramel corn so that might be the reason. It was a trick instead of a treat. I am so happy I have always hated that particular candy and most other seriously sweet candy. Oh, the lessons we learn!

yep you soon learn to learn to listen to you body!! the pain once you have had it makes you stop and think...I hate that sick feeling i had it when i have been eatiing to quick to....

Whoever came up with the fact that gastric sleeve patients don't get dumping syndrome was sadly mistaken. I love candy corn, but I won't be having any this year. I don't miss candy at all. I do however miss crunchy things, chips, petzals, popcorn.
