Friday is my 6 six anniversary. I've lost 43lbs. I'd like to start doing some serious exercise. Something besides walking.

Was there anything you loved to do before the surgery? Swim, bike, hike, etc. I would do something that you love or if there's anything you wanted to try and didn't because of the weight so if it's ok now to do it. Check with your doc because I am almost 6 weeks out and they don't want me doing anything that involves ab crunches yet. Good luck!
Have you joined a gym? I never thought I would be one to ever join one but I did a couple of weeks ago and I am actually loving it! My membership came with personal training sessions and they have been so helpful. She has walked me through using a number of the machines in the gym and designed a workout plan for me. In addition to her workouts I have been doing cardio in the form of water classes and even zumba classes.
