Default B12 = My new bestie

So I was really dragging a$$ (excuse my french) all week long after surgery, being on clear liquids was tough, so I went to my doc and he gave me two injections of b12, Bcomplex, and Vitamin C.... and I have been bouncing off the walls ever since! Too bad I can't workout yet, I want to get up and dance!

Injections are def the way to go, I will get them once a week, also, I have started 50gram protein shots, takes about 30 mins to get down so protein and vitamins are not going to be a problem I dont think, which is good b/c I was worried about that so my questions are:

    A) What other vitamins do I need?
B)when is safe to start working out/when is my sleeve heeled?
    C) Is it easier to become dehydrated when you are eating solid food? b/c right now I feel fine with the amount of liquids I'm consuming
    and
    D) I take in a lot of liquids and I take normal sized drinks, I feel fine.... is it possible to stretch my sleeve like this? would I feel it if it stretched?

    A) I take two chewable multivitamins per day as well as two B12s (sublingual), biotin, and calcium chews
    B) I was told to wait six weeks to start doing heavy workouts. I could swim after four and walk right away.
    C) You have to be careful with liquids and make sure you get enough. You can more easily become dehydrated. Also, it helps you feel full and keeps you from retaining water. Many people are mildly dehydrated and don't even realize it. They frequently mistake thirst for hunger. It's a contributing element to obesity.
    D) After about a week you should be able to drink pretty comfortably. Don't gulp and you'll be fine.

It's easy to take sublingual b-12 everyday.
Be careful what kind of protien is in the shots.. If it is collegen it isn't processed by our sleeved tummies.
It needs to be whey isolate.

I went out and paid £8 for a pot of 30 B12 supplements and when i looked at what was in the multi vits that i'm already taking it has it in there! If you're getting certain injections and you do go out and buy other vits do make sure that you're not doubling up on anything, i know that there are some that you're not supposed to over do it on, not sure which they are but i remember my boyfriend reading it out to me before i zoned him out.

Drinking won't stretch your new stomach but if you drink too quickly it might hurt a little bit, the same with big gulps, they well hurt! :/

I'm very happy for you that you're doing so well.x

I just took a quick look at the one i take as i don't know my arse from my elbow when it comes to protein, there're so many different ones it all gets a bit confusing. I don't know if i should be grossed out or not, it says pre-digested collagenic protein isolate and whey protein. Pre-digested?????? *-*

B-12, Calcium, Iron, a multivitamin and folic acid, Biotin are good for hair loss, also might want to try Andrew Lessman's healthy hair and nail pills for hair loss, supose to be awsome, I have some on the way.

Private message Alajane or Grace---they are the queens on vitamin intake. I just do what my granola girlfriends tell me to do. Sometimes it is better for me to NOT know details---like the protein thing. Blessings, Connie
